The Mindset of a Winner.

This week we speak with MMA fighter and friend of PAHQ, Tyler Minton.  We talk all about training, cutting weight, and dealing with the personalities of the sport. Tyler is also one of the best nutrition guru’s in cahoots with PAHQ.  His approach has helped athlete after athlete empower their performance while meeting weight class requirements.

Listening to Tyler speak, it’s evident that the mental approach to his training is as valuable if not more than the physical.  His experience on The Ultimate Fighter as a former wrestler convinced him that there is nothing that he can not physically conquer.  This, of course, is coming off of many injuries including a sever fracture to his orbital among others.

Tyler Minton is a busy man.  In his own words – he’s “overworked and underfed”. From cutting weight to running a gym with his wife, he has suffered from adrenal fatigue and black outs that led him to be hospitalized.  All of this in the name of sport.  Learn from the successful training principles and foibles of Minton on this week’s episode of Power Athlete Radio.
