 Nothing is given.

Ron McKeefery [@rmckeefery] part DEUX! If you missed him the first time, tune in this week to hear him drop knowledge from his years of experience at the Collegiate and Professional level. For being named Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coach of the year TWICE, Ron’s approach is simple and highly effective. His advice ranges from the complexities of selecting the right coaches to hire to surviving as an intern. Surviving can eventually translate to thriving if you recognize your role at every stage of the game.

Coach McKeefery has recently become the Vice President of Performance and Education of PLAE. Not only that, he’s kicking off a clinic series which he discusses in detail on today’s show. His book “CEO Strength Coach” is a great stepping stone to surviving the S&C struggle and getting to know what it took to make Coach Ron McKeefery the success you see today.

“Shut your mouth, open your ears, then ask a million questions and you end up getting to a point where you might actually have an original thought.”

EMPOWER YOUR PERFORMANCE.

Find Coach McKeefery on his website, www.ronmckeefery.com, and take full advantage of the resources offered. His podcast, Iron Game Chalk Talk, is no Premier Podcast in Strength and Conditioning but it’s quickly becoming one of the most popular in the field. You can check that out on his website as well.

Don’t forget, PA Nation, school is now in session. Head to www.powerathletehq.com/academy to get signed up for the Power Athlete Academy. Investing in your education is the responsibility of every coach. So you can either sit back and try and sort through the internet pseudoscience or you can break a mental sweat with this no bullshit resource. It’s not a sales pitch, it’s just some friendly encouragement to suck less every day.
