Robert Alden Welbourn.

If you’ve been following this program for any length of time, you know that is has no format and blurs the line between information and entertainment. In keeping with that theme of having no theme, we welcome the most interesting man in the world, patriarch and father of PA founder, Robert Alden Welbourn.

That’s right. This week John’s dad is here to talk about, well basically, everything. In this episode, Mr. Welbourn takes us through the Welbourn genealogy, the history since the dawn of man, and throws in some thought provoking pearls of wisdom for good measure.

We all thought this podcast would prove to be just another fad, like the internet, or pockets. Despite our having initial reservations about it’s potential for success, we are grateful for the roughly tens of millions of listeners who tune in every week. And with that, I bring you this, the 200th episode of Power Athlete Radio.

I believe there’s a gym out in Austin called atomic athlete that runs a camp or something where they teach shooting, making fires and how to kill and gut an animal.

Mr Welbourn should have his own podcast. He is as easy to listen to as Garrison Keiller. Really enjoyed this episode and calling out highlights of the first 200. Would be interested in a blog post listing the crew’s top 10 shows.
