"Most injuries do not occur in the sagital plane."

This week we welcome Brent Brookbush of the Brookbush Institute of Human Movement Sciences.  We kick off our conversation with Brent discussing his background in personal training and steady progress over the years, eventually receiving his doctorate in physical therapy.

Brent holds a fresh perspective on human movement and explains his simple approach to learning the mechanics of the bod.  Hear his three rules to learning anatomy that will most certainly enhance your understanding of muscle and joint actions.

We also chat about Brent's preference to single jointed exercises as a means to both diagnose and correct movement issues.  Additionally, we go back and forth about the function of the hamstrings and as Brent tells it, the gluts are where the real money is made.
