This week we welcome the man, the myth, the legend, Ed Cosner [@EdCosner]. This former rugby player, Highland Games competitor, and powerlifter, has coached pro athletes of nearly every background. He still bangs weights almost daily and assists with developing the strength and conditioning programs of rugby teams worldwide. When you've done as much as Coach Cosner, you have a few remarkable stories.
Some Cosner-isms include his affinity for dynamic work with plyo medballs and his belief in stretching regularly. Ed talks about how you can measure a lot of things in performance, but you can't measure toughness. This is the kind of insight that can only come from working with the best and most dedicated performers in sport.
What inspired the creation of the XXXL Stout t-shirt size and why does he liken the thought of his personal overspeed training to rolling a can of beans downhill? And finally we get an explanation to Luke's claim that he is medically allergic to the Deadlift.
