Greg Walsh [@WolfBrigadeGym] is part of a movement for responsible strength and conditioning. With a background in MMA, Greg is no stranger to the uphill battle of arbitrary conditioning and spotty strength work. Now he's focused on making better movers through his gym and training program, Wolf Brigade. In comparing his own dedication to performance to coaching your average gym-goer, Greg is acutely aware of the struggle that continues to plague the majority: Commitment.
In this episode, Greg walks us through a brief history of how he came to discover his own coaching ethos through personal experiences and inspiration as an early adopter of CrossFit. After coaching for many years in Long Beach he went back to his roots in Rochester, NY to put his evolved methodology into play. Greg is now the successful owner and operator of Wolf Brigade Gym and training system where he preaches the effectiveness of getting after it with awkward implements and emphasizing unilateral strength work.
