The Cue That Actually Matters

Ho. Ly. Shit. The Head of the Irish Rugby Football Union’s Performance & Science Program brings so much to the conversation this week. Nick Winkelman [@NickWinkelman] is a dynamic coach who is constantly refining his efficacy. He’s obsessed with the science that explains how we learn movement. Nick took himself to international settings to find new challenges and influences. Eventually this led him to Rugby. His chat with the bros extends far beyond the pitch and brings a depth to our shared love of performance training.

This week we host Nick Winkelman [@nickwinkelman]. While he was able to drop a number of incredible brain bombs about what type of cuing has been scientifically proven to be the most effective, the real magic comes towards the end of our chat. Nick is a world traveler with a flair for adventure. He expresses that through his passion for sociology and some MF house music. That’s right. This is a coach-slash-DJ. And not the other way around…listen NOW!
