Biting the Bullet on PT Reform

When you think of Power Athlete Radio, a lot of descriptors come to mind…none of which are “high brow political conversationalists” or “Presidential historians”. That’s why this week’s episode marks our peaking season for legitimate semi-adult discussion. We have special guest and close friend, Dave Spanton of Blackhawk Lending [@BlackhawkLending] to thank for that. His extensive time serving in the military and experience The Hill (that’s “Capitol Hill” in the biz) gives him something none of us have…class, sophistication, and a resume. Not your cup of tea, govnah? There’s plenty of hunting hijinks, burn ban breeches, and reminiscing about a show no one has ever heard of called “Airwolf”.

We know that how the Military has been conducting physical training is, in general, very antiquated. But why? Given the accessibility to information and the push internally from certain niches to make a shift, why is the process so hampered? Dave Spanton of Blackhawk Lending [@BlackhawkLending] and the MF US Army is here to unravel the mystery that has been decades in the making. Despite the red tape, there is a far more complicated reason that our warriors aren’t getting the optimal physical prep. Beyond that, The Crew discusses history, both of movies (naturally) and US Presidents. It’s safe to say that three out of four people on this podcast have no chance at a career in politics…especially with their long-standing position on lifting the burn ban. Listen NOW!
