Neuroplasticity is Sexy

Dr Tara Swart [@DrTaraSwart] is author of The Source, an in depth look at how the science of the brain can be utilized to realize your authentic self. Does this seem like heavy Thanksgiving dinner conversation? Well then it may be just what you need to divert the attention from religion and politics. Swart joins The Crew for a discussion about her book, her work in neuroscience, and recent research that teaches us just how to shape our destiny by training our brain. John, Luke, and Tex are, quite frankly, smitten with Dr Swart. Her sense of humor and strength in conviction knock the boys down a peg or two…and also make her the perfect guest for PA Radio.

What does it mean to visualize yourself younger, more successful, or happier? Can we convince our brain that we possess the qualities necessary to really become those things? The answer is YES. According to Dr Tara Swart, visualization is just one aspect of neuroplasticity.  Combined with other techniques as described in her book, The Source, one can begin to create the world around them rather than merely respond to it. This is the magic and science of the brain, our most adaptable resource. Listen NOW!
