Train Fast, Be Fast

This week we go big time with professional NASCAR driver, Corey LaJoie [@coreylajoie]. Not only does he possess the stock car driving skills passed down from his father, Randy LaJoie, he also scoots around the track in one unmistakable ride which features his giant face on the hood. Is the life of a professional NASCAR driver like that of Ricky Bobby? Corey sheds some light on the training and niche world of racing. Finally, Luke can hear directly from the most legitimate and credible of sources that no part of the Fast and Furious franchise is plausible. Gentlemen, start your engines.

Train Fast, Be Fast. The Power Athlete mantra has never rang more true than on today’s episode with NASCAR driver, Corey LaJoie [@CoreyLaJoie]. We dive deep into his training, mental prep, and evolution as a pro stock car driver. The Crew giving LaJoie the hard hitting questions like “Have you ever shit your pants after a sketchy burrito as a result of G forces?” While not every question is that sophisticated, we did learn just how Corey’s body is put through the ringer from an entire day of only left turns. Depending on the track, his legs are often so fatigued and shakey from competing that he’s unable to effectively drive his Dodge Caravan (we assume) home from the event. Find out what Corey really whips around as his daily driver and what he’s got laying around his garage…Listen NOW!
