Humble Beginnings, Happy Endings
For every year that goes by, Ryan Fischer [@ryanfisch] grows exactly one ab. This week’s guest entertains The Crew with a powerful backstory of his rise in CrossFit. The most poignant part of all…Ryan came to the realization that “there is so much more to life” than the sport of fitness. As an incredibly gifted athlete, he was able to hone his coaching skills and eventually open the world renowned Chalk Performance Training in SoCal. Learn more about Ryan’s evolution in training and his personal life and most importantly…how he’s able to maintain an ab surplus in these tough times.
Ryan Fischer is far more than the chiseled physique that meets the eye. He’s a gifted athlete, for sure, but he is really defined by his drive to achieve more. This is evident in his conversation with The Crew as he shares his story of humble beginnings to being a successful entrepreneur. But Ryan is not one to boast. He attributes his success to opportunities, influential people, and serendipitous moments in time. This episode the guys trade CrossFit stories in good fun and discuss the future of what once reigned as the sport of fitness. We also learn that Luke’s high school nickname was Limp Brisket and that Tex was once caught in a love triangle between a senior citizen and her Dominos Pizza Delivery boy toy.
