College Athletes Take a Hit

Coach Mike Caro [Twitter: @CoachMikeCaro] brings his unique perspective of working with 27 different teams at the D3 level to this week’s show. He and the The Crew rap about the contrasts of D1 and D3 collegiate sports environments and how those differences shape the culture of a team. When “Attitude, Effort, and Focus” are the only things an athlete can control when they walk through the doors of a weight room, the expectation is a relentless desire for improvement. Caro shares his keys to developing and maintaining a positive relationship with the sport coach staff and his deal breakers, emphasizing the unique challenges at the D3 level. Get infected…with knowledge.

Do you yearn for knowledge, engagement, and little comedic relief in these crazy times of isolation? Look no further than this week’s episode with guest, Coach Mike Caro of Emory and Henry College. He has an insight into jumpstarting D3 athletic programs, recruiting, and building relationships with his athletes. Much of what he discusses is also reminiscent of a gym owner/operator deals with. This episode is chalked full of great advice and discussion…not to mention revelations of movies forgotten. I got a fever, and the only cure is more Power Athlete Radio.
