Coming to a Theater Near You

“It’s like two vultures picking at a dead carcass and fighting over the eyeballs”… these are the words of friend of the podcast, John Welbourn. He’s talking about some of the politics surrounding high school strength and conditioning protocols soon to be in place. This week, The Crew talks about iso-holds for deadlift training, Sorinex’s Off Grid Rack, and what’s the most performance trait to maintain/develop while in quarantine. The old heartstrings take a beating when talk of what a great guy The Rock is comes up as well as the unfortunate plight of high school and college atheltes with nowhere to train. Get ready for a tornado of emotions…coincidentally what Luke feels when Tex puts the movie “Twister” in his top 3. SHAME.

How do I sum up this episode? While The Crew has some extremely valuable info about how to aid your youth athletes in finding their passion, they also put an equal amount of effort and energy into determining who would play them in a Power Athlete movie. Shout out to the productivity terrorist who asked that question. Listening to them debate the minute details of their choice in actors is like listening to women hash out which celebrity they would bang…”I just think he’d make a really incredible father…” The shortlist of potentials to play John are as follows: Tony Robbins (obvious doppelganger), Vince Vaughn, or Steve Buschemi. Weigh in with your Crew cast or disregard the question completely. The outcome will be the same. Tune in to simply to hear the voices of three people you’re not currently stuck in quarantine with. Listen NOW!
