Don’t Separate the Body from Mind

Reflexive Performance Reset. You’ve heard the term RPR slung around the scene some time now, including on this podcast, but what IS it actually? This week we are joined by J.L. Holdsworth to discuss just that. Hear how the use of breath work and tactile input on very specific areas on your body have the ability to “reset” to refocus your body from a state of survival to one of performance. In addition to RPR discussion, The Crew agrees that the quarantine stache is OUT and that Tex should get metal legs.

This is an ad. Please consider our shameless self promotion.

J.L. Holdsworth is a record holding former powerlifter. Throughout his career he’s sustained a lot of pain and injury. The emotional and physical effects of being a hardhitter day in and day out left him with a chip on his shoulder and a lot of unresolved shit. His story is not unfamiliar to high level performers in various settings. Hear how he was able to reset his body’s state of stress and survival to one of calm and performance. The Crew reads reviews from our rival podcast shows in hopes to bolster our own good reviews. Hear how that backfires in real time…which makes it a good time for some RPR. We’re fine, you’re fine, everything’s fine.
