In this episode the Crew dials the voicemail to answer a question from a loyal Power Athlete Radio listener:

Hi, my name is Vince and I just got the Whoop Strap 3 and I am wondering what you guys thought of it as a training tool and its viability. Is it something I should hang onto and use, or is it something that just a waste of my money.

Thank you.

What’s the Deal with Wearables

Fitness tracking is no new fad, but wearing it is! Fun fact, the concept of fitness tracking grew from written logs of the old school President’s Challenge that needed to be uploaded once the computer was invented. It only took technology 50 years to catch up with our desire to measure progress, now the question is, which fitness wearable works best for my individual training goals and how accurate is it really? Do I care more about monitoring sleep and calorie expenditure or running hilarious phallic routes and mapping the tracing?!

The Crew connects to answer a caller submission questioning the value and efficacy of their recent wearable purchase. An arousing podcast discussion that explores the purpose of fitness tracking and which wearables are leaning on amazing marketing and fashion and/or have the tech to empower your performance.
