Dr. Martino served as a USA Swimming National Team Coach and  was a member of the Olympic Advisory Coaching Staffs in Barcelona and Atlanta. He has traveled the world competing, coaching and lecturing on human performance and now he’s bringing his expertise to Power Athlete Radio!

This is an ad. Please consider our shameless self promotion.

In this week’s episode The Crew can’t help but indulge in their foot fetish. That’s right, more discussion of flat-footed versus high arched hooves with Dr. Mike Martino. Mike brings up some interesting and rather controversial points on the end of Olympic lifting in sport weight rooms and the overhead squat being his most valuable lift. Of course we can’t help but push back on some of his logic and his reasoning is surprising. This is one you’ll want to watch on our YouTube channel because Ol’ Tex kicks off his ladies boat shoes to model some of Doc’s diagnostics. Some images may not be suitable for children. Listen (or watch) NOW!
