The Health and Fitness Hustle

Michael Matthews [@muscleforlifefitness @legionath] started his training journey the way a lot of us did. He just wanted to feel good and look jacked. Along the way, however, he got a taste of the nasty and often misguided industry of health and fitness. Now he’s dedicated his career to providing legit information for the naive new enthusiast. As an author, podcast host, and supplement company owner, you’d think this CEO of Legion Athletics had achieved everything he set out to achieve. Not the case. Hear his success story and some of the major hurdles he’s had along the way.

To try and summarize this episode would be pretty pointless. We thought Mike Matthews was going to come onto the show to discuss his company, Legion Athletics, but the conversation that ensued was like a complex Rubik’s cube of training, history, politics, supplements, and the conspiracy theory about the term “conspiracy theories”. Does your brain hurt yet? Perhaps a concise little three hour podcast will help clear up some of the confusion. If you had any questions about the business side of the health and fitness hustle, this one is for you. If you want to know whether or not our country is headed for certain dystopia…also for you.
