Good.

Every so often we have a guest whose resume is so impressive that we can’t help but feel like “what am I doing with my life?”. Our guest, Jason Gardner spent 30 years as a SEAL. That’s a hell of a long time to amass the kind of leadership skills you would expect to see from the US Military’s elite. But as Jason points out, there were plenty of lessons along the way. Fortunately for us, we don’t have to experience these valuable teachings with rounds flying by. Instead we can hear from the man whose lived a thousand lives.

This is an ad. Please consider our shameless self promotion.

Humility is not a word you typically think of when reflecting on good leadership…but it should be. Jason Gardner knows this better than anyone from his lengthy career in the military. He also understands on a deep level just what it means to take care of your people. For some, that may be your co-workers, for others, your immediate family. What’s best for the team will inevitably yield a positive result for you. Drink in some knowledge from a guy whose seen some shit.
