Author / John

1 Hour 27 Minute Listen

The truth about injury, resilience, and training that actually works.

Injuries aren’t just setbacks, they’re preventable roadblocks on the path to peak performance. Scott Hogan, author of Built or Broken, joins me to explore how athletes can train smarter, protect their joints, and stay in the game longer.

Scott breaks down the often-overlooked role of tendons, the cascade effect of injuries, and why addressing pain early is critical. He dives into youth sports, emphasizing broad athletic development over early specialization, and we share strategies for building a body that’s resilient, durable, and primed for high-level performance.

If you want to maximize your performance and minimize the setbacks that derail it, this conversation is packed with insights to keep your body strong for the long haul.
