| Ep 843 – 7 Reasons Most Training Fails (And What Actually Works)

Author / John

34 Minute Listen

Consistency, nutrition, and accountability, how to train smarter for the long haul.

Most people don’t fail because they’re lazy. They fail because they chase intensity, novelty, and motivation instead of following rules that actually work.

I’m breaking down the 7 non-negotiable rules of training success, the principles that separate short-term effort from long-term results. From consistency and goal-driven programming to nutrition, recovery, and accountability, I’m cutting through the noise and calling out why most training plans fall apart.

These come straight from questions our followers are asking right now. I’m sharing what real progress looks like over a year, not a week, not a challenge, not some hype cycle. I’ll explain why adaptation beats intensity, why you can’t out-train a bad diet, how to build an actual game plan, and why having a system (and people) to keep you honest is the difference between spinning your wheels and moving the dirt.

If you’re tired of starting over, jumping from program to program, and wondering why the work isn’t paying off, this episode gives you the framework to fix it.
