1 Hour 30 Minute Listen

Most people confuse strength for athleticism, but strength alone won’t keep you young.

The fitness industry loves to celebrate strength, but strength without movement is a dead end. The real question isn’t how much you can lift, it’s whether you can still move, react, coordinate, and perform when it matters. Athleticism isn’t built with a bigger bench press alone, and it’s definitely not something you get to keep without training it.

Power Athlete Certified Coach, Dr Ben Skutnik joins me to break down the components of true athleticism and why maintaining muscle mass remains one of the strongest predictors of long-term health and longevity. From movement quality and coordination to strength development and program design, we unpack how Power Athlete trains athletes for specific goals while following the same proven principles.

If you want to stay strong, capable, and athletic for decades, not just put up bigger numbers in the gym, this episode is for you.
