Why most people fall apart after 40

Most men hit 40 and start accepting decline as if it’s inevitable. The extra body fat, aching joints, poor recovery, low energy, disappearing muscle mass, and fading drive all get chalked up to “getting older.” But what if most of what we blame on aging is actually the result of poor sleep, metabolic dysfunction, inactivity, and years of bad habits catching up with us?

Dr. Kirk Parsley is back to separate biological aging from self-inflicted deterioration. Together we unpack what health actually means after 40, the biggest mistakes people make that accelerate decline, and the objective markers that distinguish high performers from those merely surviving.

From sleep quality and hormonal health to strength, body composition, and metabolic resilience, Dr. Parsley lays out the metrics that matter. If you want to remain strong, capable and resilient well into your 50s and beyond, this episode delivers.
