movement that looks good usually is good.
This week we are excited to chat with Lauren Polivka and Zach Anderson. These two hail from Atlanta, Georgia where Lauren is a licensed physical therapist and Zach is a coach and former CrossFit Games athlete. The two began working with each other in an attempt to tackle some of the nagging shoulder and nerve issues that have plagued Zach for the past year.
When an athlete who cares for little more than winning at any cost is paired with a PT whose sole goal is to take your body to new levels of performance, a beautiful thing happens. This beautiful thing eventually manifested into what is now Repair + Recover Services and Workshops. The duo are now taking their simple and highly effective approach to active recovery and blowing minds through the seminar circuit.
What are some of the ways in which Lauren diagnoses injury, deficiency, or limiting factor? AND what results have caused Zach to prioritize his once non-existent warm up and cool down practices? To learn, you’ll just have to stay tuned.

A strength and conditioning coach since 2009, Cali has worked with numerous athletes spanning from rugby players to cross country skiers. Almost immediately after finding CrossFit in 2010, she was introduced to a program that better suited her athletic goals. With her existing background in powerlifting and football, she became a natural devotee to CFFB/PowerAthlete and testament to it's effectiveness. In 2012, she left D.C. and headed for the state named after her to be a part of the CrossFit Football Seminar Staff and a Jedi of Power Athlete HQ. Cali currently resides in Seattle where she works full time in law enforcement.
