Stop overthinking your training.

This week we host Tom Furman.  Tom has quite the training history and has made a name for himself coaching and publishing several books that fall well into the fitness biz.  From diet to traditional strength and conditioning, Tom gives an insight into his world and his coaching experiences.

Tom is an even keeled guy with a nose for bullshit and a passion for performance.  As you’ll hear, he’s as much into the mental influence a coach can have over his athletes than any program or ideal rep/set spread.  His comments regarding success in defeating a shitty body composition are priceless.  In short, if you’re a nerd, you’ll be successful.

Hear this dynamic training guru give you his unique point of view about everything from hip-to-waist ratios to some interesting thoughts about Stuart McGill’s findings and philosophies.  Tom Furman is not hopping on a bandwagon any time soon.  Here he is in episode 130.

@luke I remember earlier this year a video of Dr Platek’s presentation on attractiveness was available to watch but it appears it’s no longer available to watch. Is there any chance it could be uploaded to the power athlete youtube or vimeo sites?
