Good Food. Good timing. Great Results.

This week we give you a very meaty conversation with Dr. Warren Willey.  Based out of Idaho, Dr. Willey has built a career on being a perpetual student, as he is currently working on a second masters degree, AND passing that knowledge.  He is an author, consultant, educator, and of course – avid banger of weights. Working with predominantly body builders, Doc has made it his life’s work to find out how to optimize diet and training without succumbing to the health detriments that have traditionally plagued the sport.

As you’ll hear from Dr. Willey, food is a way to manipulate hormones.  But, with great power comes great responsibility. Some interesting points made along the way include how hormones responses to nutrition can be subject to accommodation just as they are to training.  Also, how timing pre and post workout meals is still a very relevant approach to fine tuning your results.

Stay tuned for a really great discussion on the science of fueling, feeding, and functioning at high levels.  That’s right…actual information about things not relating to movies coming your way.
