Quint Zambon joins us this week to talk about his experience training and competing in strongman. If you’re like me, when you think about the sport of strongman,you imagine towering European physiques, hands that could palm a med ball, and a viral video of a guy simultaneously vomiting and doing a tire deadlift ladder. But, at just 5’6″ and 170 lbs, Quint represents the lighter weight class of this growing competitive niche. Hear about how he transitioned from soccer, yes soccer, to other end of the spectrum of strength and conditioning.
Not only does Quint have some advice for any up and coming competitors out there, but as a coach of many youth athletes he’s able to shed some light on the woes of managing large groups of especially needy high schoolers. Quint is no stranger to the not uncommon use of special supplements in strongman and has seen the performance effects on peers.

A strength and conditioning coach since 2009, Cali has worked with numerous athletes spanning from rugby players to cross country skiers. Almost immediately after finding CrossFit in 2010, she was introduced to a program that better suited her athletic goals. With her existing background in powerlifting and football, she became a natural devotee to CFFB/PowerAthlete and testament to it's effectiveness. In 2012, she left D.C. and headed for the state named after her to be a part of the CrossFit Football Seminar Staff and a Jedi of Power Athlete HQ. Cali currently resides in Seattle where she works full time in law enforcement.
