 EPISODE156b

solving beefs in the gym.

This week we talk with a man behind the man of Sorinex. The second generation of the world renowned strength equipment brand takes time out of his busy schedule to chat with the crew. Bert Sorin is more than a MFCEO, he’s also a Power Athlete in his own right. Bert has been a competitive Highland Games athlete and specializes in hammer throwing.

Aside from his notoriety as a solid business man and strength advocate, he’s a down to earth dude whose idea of fun is drinking beer and doing heavy snatch pulls in his underwear. Call it unusual, Bert calls it Wednesday night.

The guys take time to chat programming, movies, personal heroes, and the excitement of meeting lifting legends in the flesh. There is talk of JT and Jessica Beil, Red Dawn, and Howie Long, all in this epic hour of conversation. We should have known this was going to be a good one when Bert explained he always cracks a beer when he knows he’s about to get down and dirty on strength and conditioning.  So here it is…
