Do Not Meditate While Driving

She’s BACK! It’s time for round two with this movement specialist who appreciates the concept of sports specificity. Find out how guest, Dana Santas [@mobilitymaker] works with athletes in order to improve durability and emphasize injury prevention. It’s not about eliminating asymmetries or altering the developments that make the pros good at their job. It’s about making them well oiled machines.

Probably the most exciting bit featured in this week’s podcast is a walk through of a 5 min breathing and meditation exercise. Dana takes you, the listener, step by step through a practice that will leave you feeling more balanced, more in tune with your energy and breathing, and if you’re John…very very sleepy.

Sometimes getting your mind right requires you to slow down and, as one of my least favorite sayings goes “listen to your body”. Or if you’re like me, ignore your liar body, and just listen to this podcast.

EMPOWER YOUR PERFORMANCE.

Remember that you can find Dana Santas as @MobilityMaker on instagram. Additionally, Dana can be found featured on CNN as a regular movement specialist contributor and will be speaking at the NSCA conference this year as part of a “move better” initiative.
