Taking the hill

This week we catch up with Bert Sorin at his private hunting club in South Carolina. If you’re a fan of Power Athlete Radio, or a critic, you know that sometimes our shit goes completely off the reservation. Well, just a little heads up, this is one of those episodes. Get ready to drink in a solid 20 minute debate about movies made in 1985 vs. 1994.  how old you’d have to feasibly be to have sex with Janis Joplin during her hay day.

If you were at Sorinex Summer Strong last year, you have some idea what it’s all about. But, hearing Bert talk a little about the origin of the event and the evolution of the company over the years really articulates why he’s dedicated so much heart to the iron game.

Although the conversation meanders from movies to fatherhood to training, it’s all set to the subtle backdrop of the crickets and frogs singing in the background. I couldn’t imagine a perfect setting for shooting to shoot the shit with friend of the show and remarkable leader, Bert Sorin.

EMPOWER YOUR PERFORMANCE.

And ladies and gentlemen, we’re going to leave it there. Keep your eyes peeled for registration for Sorinex Summer Strong in Lexington, SC. The dates of the event are May 19-21 so don’t sleep on getting your tickets. As promised, the weekend will be filled with great talks, throwing around some iron, and of course, the buddy system.
