Building Better Baseball

Listen up. If you are a baseball coach or a former player this episode is dedicated to you. Even if you’re like beer league baseball champs Luke and Tex OR like me, a batting cage all star, you will appreciate all that Dr. David Syzmanski has to offer.

Dr. David Szymanski’s background is baseball and it shows. His passion for training the high skill sport started when he was a collegiate player himself at the College of DuPage. Coming from an environment with a strict policy AGAINST any strength and conditioning outside of simply playing the sport, David simply could not see the logic. He focused his subsequent career on improving the performance of high skill movements in baseball through appropriate GSP training. Hear what he’s accomplished at Texas Luthern, Auburn, and now, Louisiana Tech.

I say it all the time, but this episode is so good. Dr. Szymanski breaks down baseball’s mechanics, myths, science, and even politics. He has personally researched and tested many of the player gimmicks you see on infomercials. His work simply comes down to two goalS, make qualified strength and conditioning coaches invaluable to sport coaches and spread the knowledge he’s gained to improve the performance of anyone willing to listen.

EMPOWER YOUR PERFORMANCE.

Dr. David Szymanski is obviously an incredible resource for anyone coaching or training baseball players. Read up on him at www.latechsportscience.org and then email your inquiries dszyman@latech.edu.
