If You Don’t Use It You Lose It

We throw the word “stressed” around like it’s a decent excuse for why we retreat within ourselves or cop an attitude with others. Similarly, when our performance in the weight room, on field, or at work is lackluster we often blame it on stress. Dr Richard Citrin [@RichardCitrin] is here to let you know, you and your stress is not special. You are not a unique snowflake.

Everyone endures varying degrees of stress on a regular basis and what’s more, we were meant to experience stress. In fact, we were BUILT for it. But “stress management” is an overused term with false implications. When faced with overwhelming mental, physical, and emotional obstacles, we can actually train ourselves in the practice of resiliency. How do we achieve this in sport, business, and life? Dr Citrin will feed you baby birds.

EMPOWER YOUR PERFORMANCE.

The annual three day Power Athlete Symposium is set for December 7, 8, 9 in Austin Texas. I recommend the following: get your ass on jacked street, order your a couple of big old boxes of meat from Stay Classy, and get your tickets to the symposium. As is tradition with any beginner template, this event is on a linear progression of epic-ness and you do not want to miss the novice window.
