Regenerative Agriculture

Animals. They’re sometimes cute, frequently delicious, and as it turns out, imperative to sustaining an ecosystem. So why are the majority of farming practices done with ignorance to the bigger picture? That’s where nonprofit The Savory Institute comes in. Our guest Bobby Gill breaks educates us on the delicate balance of grazing, feeding, pooping, and all of the chemical processes that result. How our meat is raised has more of an impact on this flat disc we call Earth than any vegan could imagine. Hope your appetite for knowledge is hearty.

There’s no doubt about it. Humans have had a huge impact on our planet’s diverse ecosystems. We are selfish sons of bitches whose primary goal has always been to streamline our struggle for survival. #NailedIt Now it’s time to get responsible with how we sustain our existence. According to Bobby Gill of Savory Institute, practicing regenerative agriculture promotes the health of the animals we consume. And when animals live their best life, they in turn promote the health of all of the flora and fauna in the surrounding area. Bobby throws a ton of data your way…making it impossible not to look at how you’ve been voting with your dollar at the local grocery store. And if that’s not enough new information, Tex’s idea for “Hard Lard” may just be the next hot paleo cocktail. Combine your favorite animal fat with preferred liquor and you’ve got yourself a hard lard crowd pleaser. Bacon grease and tequila, anyone?

EMPOWER YOUR PERFORMANCE.
