The commissioner of fun: A Rebroadcast

This week we are rebroadcasting a very special episode of Power Athlete Radio.  If you didn’t get the chance to hear our conversation with Freddy Camacho and Chyna Cho, you won’t want to miss this.

Freddy, known to us at HQ as “The Commissioner of Fun” talks about training with Chyna through 2014 and their experiences at regionals.  No Freddy rant would be complete without voicing his frustrations with so-called coaches taking a cheerleader approach to leading groups.

We also get to retroactively hear about the training that led Chyna to the CrossFit Games and her mental approach to the high level of competition. Find out why she would gladly do one-armed wall balls just to make it through a qualifying workout and see the smile on her father’s face.

Stay up to date with Crossfit Games Competitor Chyna Cho on Instagram,Twitter, and Facebook. If you’re in the NorCal area make sure you stop by their gym Crossfit Of Fremont.

Also, these two crazy cats have one of the BEST training playlists to date.  Check out our Spotify page or go to the blog post of this episode to have a listen.  It’s one of my go-to selections.

Next week we welcome the amazingly notorious, Steph Gaudreau of Stupid Easy Paleo.  She’s got some great new projects in the works so be sure to tune in.

    Great stuff.

Side not on the slow internet in Australia & NZ:
It’s because they are so far from anything. The speed of light (which is the fastest we can get data to move) is a b….

And the cost is because someone has to lay cables across the ocean all the way to them.
