Author / John

Merry Christmas, ya’ filthy animals.  This week’s episode is full of surprises as we give you Part 2 to the live broadcast at PAHQ.  If you’re living under a rock, or are stationed in Iraq, you may be unaware that PA held it’s first annual symposium a few weeks ago.  While we had a jam packed weekend of training, education, and light raging, we made time to record PA Radio with some of our guests in attendance.

Hear the end of the Woodway-Freerunner story and despite what John says, why you should definitely not email the executive producer of Modern Family to tell him what an asshat he is.  We hear from some of coaches in the audience regarding how to motivate athletes, why the brains of elite athletes operate differently than us mere mortals, and whose nickname is slang for “skilled lover”.

jonathan rider dedicates this episode to:

  • Ronin Fitness – Amazing culture, positive training environment, and active in the community.
  • Adam Alley – Chocolate chip waffle enthusiast, manchild, and good buddy.
  • Daniel Fischer AKA LegoTron – Professional freeloader, CFFB cherrypicker, and excellent coach.
  • Jon’s lovely wife

Jonathan Rider was the winner of our holiday dedication silent auction.  Listen to his personalized dedications, through @Cali , at the start and conclusion of this episode.

A big THANK YOU to Jon for his generous financial contribution to this show and to everyone who showed their support for Power Athlete Radio through the silent auction.  Your donation will be used to improve the PA Radio experience.
