Power Athlete’s Third Monkey is a one of a kind training program designed specifically in response to the COVID-19 Crisis. In the face of adversity, we know maintaining fitness is essential for your mental well being and immune function. 

Equipment, both new and used, is hard to find. And when you can find it, it's at a ridiculous premium. This left the "other guys" pushing bodyweight bootcamp style training because they just don't understand movement, which presents problems of its own.

Designed by 10 year NFL veteran John Welbourn & his team, Third Monkey leverages easy to obtain gear from your local hardware store to load up movement, and help you continue to smash your goals on your fitness journey.

The story behind Third Monkey is this; we found ourselves in interesting times. In the wake of global shelter in place orders athletes around the globe stepped into trying times. Humanity always prevails, but not without hardship and frustration. You should be prepared physically, mentally, and spiritually to fight. There should be a mindful and deliberate approach to everything you are going to be doing.

Especially your daily training.

Lack of fitness equipment and facilities cannot be a reason to throw up a white flag, and plant your ass in a couch.

And you shouldn't have to follow some monotonous bodyweight bootcamp training. You deserve training with progression and overload, two key principles to effective fitness programs so you can achieve maximal gains, with a minimal investment in equipment.

How much does a cinder block weigh?

ANSWER

18x6x6 cinder blocks weight about 35 - 40 pounds.

I have some equipment, do I need to use cinder blocks for this program to work?

ANSWER

Not at all. You can substitute any movements that call for the use of cinder blocks with similar movements using traditional exercise equipment like dumbbells, kettlebells, or barbells. I am Military, LEO and Fire, I don't have access to a gym or equipment, is this program suited to me?

ANSWER

Yes, absolutely. You need strong arms, legs, and especially a strong back to drape the enormous blanket of freedom and safety over the civilian population that you so bravely serve.
