WHAT IS ARMR?
Power Athlete’s Army Movement Readiness (ARMR) is a training program designed to introduce Soldiers to strength training and target the fitness demands of the ACFT and operations.
Designed by 10 year NFL veteran John Welbourn & his team, ARMR has 3 strength training days each week combined with two running/ruck days and 1 day each week with carefully selected movements for ACFT specific prep and instruction.
ARMR is perfect for all members of the Profession of Arms, leaders, Soldiers, Army Civilians, and contractors who will be exposed to the new ACFT. The workouts can be completed in under 60 minutes for individual Soldiers and Unit’s group fitness training.

I am looking to get stronger and faster and still be able to make my run
times. Is this program for me?
ANSWER
This program was designed for all members of the Profession of Arms, leaders, Soldiers, Army Civilians, and contractors who will be exposed to the new ACFT in mind. The program will give a heavy dose of strength work using the barbell, dumbbell, kettlebell and body weight movements in preparation for success in the ACFT all the while increasing capacity both glycolytic and aerobic capacity. In short, you will get a heavy dose of running mixed with your strength and conditioning work and specific skill work teaching you how to execute all components of the ACFT.

Will this program help me become a more capable Soldier?
ANSWER
In short, yes with this caveat. If you do what you are supposed to do in your job and become proficient at the demands outside the gym and training space, we will take the necessary steps to make you the baddest dude on the block – able to kick in steel doors in a shot and able to leap tall buildings with 90 pounds of rockets on your back.

ANSWER

ANSWER
