Automation vs Autonomy
What lights you up? Are you moving towards your goals? James FitzGerald believes questions like these help drive intention. Intention in life, and intention in fitness. This comes from a history of coaching crossfit, creating OPT, and seeing the contrast of coaches’ motivation. Solid principles for training and the autonomy of a garage gym is the simple recipe for a satisfying fitness lifestyle.
Those coaches and educators who find themselves in the constant evolving world of fitness face more challenges than ever. As our current situation finds us training 6 feet apart, James FitzGerald [@jfitzopex @opexfitness] argues that this is just the beginning of an automated system of fitness. This week he explains to The Crew that each athlete should delve into their own “fitness biases” and discover what are their true “fitness intentions”. FitzGerald is also an active proponent of a system that supports coaches and values their legitimate expertise. Find out how he’s doing just that through OPEX.
