Stimulate, Don’t Annihilate

Nothing could me more apropos than having nutrition master, Stan Efferding [@StanEfferding] on the show on Thanksgiving week. While you’ve been shoveling food into your gullet, we’ve been preparing a tasty little episode of Power Athlete Radio. If you consider yourself a nutrition nerd or you’ve been throwing darts aimlessly trying to find out why you’re so fatigued, you need to listen to this. It’s time to stop being a turkey and ride this gravy train to Jacked Street.

So true on so many levels. While Stan is predominantly referring to sleep and excellent nutrition, this advice also applies to beyond strength and conditioning. This week’s guest, Stan Efferding [@StanEfferding] has dedicated his life to using his body as a testing ground for optimal nutrition. An accomplished powerlifter and bodybuilder, he now gives back to the community by imparting what he’s learned. Like so many, he struggled with gut issues, fatigue, and all of the trappings that exist in training at the highest level. The difference? He researched and tested and researched some more. He discovered the miracle of micronutrients and heart rate variability. He does no cardio and dow not recommend steady state for his clients. How is able to achieve 4-5% bodyfat? Stan will feed you baby birds.

EMPOWER YOUR PERFORMANCE.

This episode officially comes out Thanksgiving Week and from everyone here at Power Athlete and Wade’s Army, we want to thank you for your continued support. While we would probably never do this work if we didn’t selfishly love it, your shared enthusiasm makes it possible to keep pushing out information that will empower your performance and battle the bullshit.
