With the weather outside getting colder, nothing is nicer than sitting down to a bowl of hot chili. You can basically make this in your sleep. Literally. Put everything in a crockpot before you go to bed and you will have chili for breakfast. Kind of joking, but also… you can put an egg on top of anything and it makes it breakfast right? Check out this new recipe and let us know how it goes.

Ingredients:

2# ground meat. Pictured is 1# 97/3 ground beef and 1# venison. You can use chicken or turkey as well!

4 celery sticks chopped

2 carrots, peeled and diced

1 large sweet potato, peeled and diced

1 sweet onion, diced

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 can diced tomatoes, with juice

1 can tomato sauce

½ cup bone broth, I used chicken

½ cup hot sauce, I used Frank’s

1.5 tsp salt

1.5 tsp cumin

1.5 tsp chili powder

1.5 tsp paprika

1.5 tsp ground coffee
