Fighting Tyranny.

If Chuck Norris were better looking and more lethal, he’d just barely touch the awesome that is this week’s guest. It’s impossible to summarize the personality and skill set of one, Rudy Reyes [@RealRudyReyes], and luckily we don’t have to. The Crew chats with former Recon Marine, martial artist, actor, public speaker, and hater of shirts.

Legend, Rudy Reyes, opens up about his childhood and the catalyst for wanting to join the military. His stories about working, training, and “running and gunning” as he calls it, will have you wondering how he even made it out on the other side. Rudy also talks about the highs and lows of consulting for Generation Kill, a series based on the First Reconnaissance Battalion’s role during the war in Iraq.

While Rudy’s resume certainly makes him overqualified for our podcast, he somehow maintains his humility. It’s this combination of modesty and unpredictability that endear him to us.

EMPOWER YOUR PERFORMANCE.

Whew. If you made it through that rollercoaster, you have probably already started following Rudy on Instagram @RealRudyReyes. As an American, I’m ashamed to say I haven’t seen the Generation Kill series but on the next rainy day perhaps you’ll snuggle up with TV Rudy Reyes like I plan on doing.
