Author / John

33 Minutes Listen

“The law of evolution dictates that the strongest of a species survives. It is time for the Army to cultivate a culture that involves strength training and the creation of stronger, more durable soldiers”

John F. Kennedy wrote an article in Sports Illustrated, The Soft American, outlining his thoughts on the decline in the physical strength and ability of young Americans sharing, “one out of every two young Americans was being rejected by Selective Service as mentally, morally or physically unfit.” This challenge is as relevant now as it was in 1960. In this podcast, John and Tex talk being the hammer, how to increase your resilience and lethality, plus balancing training for a specific job’s fitness test and still improving performance required to do the damn job well.
