Why Henry Abbott says we’re training athletes to shatter and how ballistic movement could be the fix.
Henry Abbott doesn’t pull punches and in his new book Ballistic, he unloads on the modern sports machine that’s chewing up athletes and spitting them out. Henry joins me to expose why injuries are skyrocketing across all levels of sport, and why today’s “coaching” is more about clout than capability.
From early specialization to year-round grind culture, we break down how bad coaching, broken systems, and one-dimensional development are torching kids before they even hit puberty. Want real injury prevention? You need movement, variability, and multi-sport exposure. This one’s a gut check for coaches, parents, and anyone who gives a damn about athlete longevity.
