Luke – good job at playing traffic cop. I laughed when you were reeling John in.

But seriously, you could do weeks on end with John. Tons of info.

@Ingo B, You’ve seen The Welbourn in action, you know it’s like slowing down a freight train…

How much will the book be and will there be a program to follow? Or is it a nutritional book

    • luke on March 4, 2013 at 3:06 pm

      TBD, it’s all a work in progress…

      Keep your eyes peeled.

Great Podcast! Thanks for addressing my on-going questions about plant based proteins given that I was the primary devil’s advocate for plant based protein. I’m sold on the animal based protein. That being said I’d be curious to see what john thinks about http://www.sunwarrior.com/product-info/warrior-blend….which makes lot’s of claims about having a complete amino acid profile, etc.

    Thanks for the awesome site.

    Glad y’all like the program.

Barbell Shrugged cross pollination – let the crew talk.

  7. Ingo B on March 5, 2013 at 8:41 am

If the Barbell Shrugged and Power Athlete crew did a joint podcast, the knowledge bombs would explode the internet, creating a huge wormhole that’d send us all back to 1972.

    INGO B haha too funny..although 1972 wouldn’t be that bad…cheaper gas $$

    keep the comments coming in…

Let the freight train called John Wellbourn roll. I’d strongly recommend that the show be an hour and that John be on it everyday. Never get enough of hearing him share this helpful knowledge.

I also recommend that when you have Dr. Jin the neuroscientistt on the program, that you record it in video form. I’d love to see the brain mapping of high level athletes and special forces in diagrams and pictures.

Keep up the great work guys. Can’t wait to the third episode.

Great post, very excited about this.

Was wondering about whether this may be available on itunes as a podcast?

    • luke on March 6, 2013 at 8:54 am

      Eventually yes.

The second edition of The Book of Methods is coming out soon. Lou still talks about you John and I’m sure Bob Evans misses you too!
