Insert Doubt Into Your Routine
Ali Kershner’s coaching story has a unique start. This goalkeeper from Duke University stumbled into an incredible opportunity by buying a flight and taking a risk. After working under renowned coach and Power Athlete Radio Alum, Andre Hudy, Ali went on to Stanford and is now in her second year empowering the performance of their women’s basketball and golf teams. Hear her journey through collegiate sports and eventually training under some of the most impressionable names in the biz.
What does “Ride the Grey” mean to you? Everyone’s got their own interpretation and therein lies the beauty of nuance. What the hell am I even talking about? Well, Ali Kershner [@kershner.ali] is not only the Associate Olympic Sports Performance Coach for Women’s Golf and Basketball at Stanford but she is also obsessed, in the best way possible, with the concept of lateral thinking. She believes wholeheartedly in asking difficult questions, embracing awkward situations, and seeking unconventional solutions. Pulling influence from all different facets of the NON-strength and conditioning world allow her to amass a broader view and show up more effectively for her athletes. This is the influence for her mantra and podcast “Ride the Grey” [@ridethegrey]. Truly a cutting edge coach with a noble endeavor.
