1 Hour 10 Minute Listen

Jim passed on Nov 28 & we wanted to honor him by re-releasing this ep of his deep wisdom.

Jim Abrahams, known for his iconic comedies like Airplane! and The Naked Gun, passed away recently at the age of 80. His contributions to the film industry left an indelible mark, but so too did his unwavering dedication to his family. Despite battling leukemia for 20 years causes like The Charlie Foundation showcased his resilience.

His son Charlie was suffering from catastrophic seizures—100 a day by the time he was one. Faced with limited options and zero quit in his DNA, Jim didn’t wait for a miracle. He became the miracle. Armed with relentless research and the heart of a father unwilling to lose, Jim discovered the ketogenic diet—a metabolic game-changer rooted in high fats and low carbs. The result? A near-total reversal of Charlie’s seizures and a testament to the power of fuel as medicine.

This episode revisits Jim’s remarkable advocacy for the ketogenic lifestyle. His legacy continues to inspire, not just through laughter but through life-changing health initiatives like The Charlie Foundation, a beacon for anyone looking to reclaim control over their health with nutrition as their weapon. Whether it’s lifting heavy, leading your family, or facing down medical giants, Jim Abrahams proved that action conquers all.
