You Boys didn’t know I’m a Savage.
The year is now 2018 and a lot has changed. Cars can fly, Tex cut his hair, and Power Athlete has exclusively become a MEME page. So maybe none of this is true. But if you want real talk motivation heading into this new year, look no further than this week’s episode.
Our conversation with Zach Even-Esh [@zevenesh] went crazy long with so much good material we had to make it a two-parter. In this second part, Zach talks passionately about not only his preferred style of coaching but why he believes it’s the most effective in training youth athletes. As he explains, he’s not preparing these kids to necessarily be strong in the weight room. He feels the real strength is one developed in character which just happens to be forged through the iron struggle.
EMPOWER YOUR PERFORMANCE.
I personally have listened to Zach speak many times and each time I’m struck by his unwavering dedication. I hope that each of you are able to derive some sort of inspiration from his words and carry them into your own endeavors. Here’s to another year of the Premier Podcast in Strength and Conditioning. no ing ing ing.
