In this episode the Crew dials the voicemail to answer a question from a loyal Power Athlete Radio listener:

I was gonna text, but it’s probably going to be long. What are some things you used to believe that you no longer believe. What made you change your mind? It could strength related, or just life related, I don’t care.

Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards

Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards. In a world of hot takes, facades on instagram, and 24 hour news cycles, there is little time for self-reflection and personal accountability. That is, unless you make time to hold the mirror up.

John, Luke, and Tex to discuss mindsets, opinions, and views of the world they once believed, about training and life. A LOT of ground is covered today: the importance of an aerobic base, obsession over athletic performance, engines, and of course, foot stuff. Not to mention concussions, digital overhaul of the human touch, and how to create opportunities through training to find one-self.

In terms of the internet & social media, you should consider reading “The Shallows” by Nicholas G. Carr. It explains why everyone is becoming less intelligent & brain depleted. People are evolving away from a literate mind. The brain changes based on the technology available.

P.S. Spiderman stole the quote from Voltaire.
