| | EP – 384 Sprinters Should Never Squat Toes Forward?

Author / Cali Hinzman

56 minute listen

In this episode the Crew dials the voicemail to answer a question from a loyal Power Athlete Radio listener:

Recently you were tagged in an Instagram post about sprinters not squatting toes forward, then the author blocked Power Athlete and retracted his statement. Can we get to the bottom of squatting toes forward for sprinters and defunct his argument that squatting is bi-lateral exercise, sprinting is uni-lateral, they don’t connect!… or do they?

Tight later.

To Squat #ToesForward Or To Not? That Is the Question

The Internet! We’re ever so grateful Al Gore invented such a wonderful platform for experts in industries to present information and experience to others and engage in fruitful discussion about science, philosophy, and in our case, squatting toes forward!

John and Tex entered into, and were quickly ejected from, an internet debate about squat foot position for track athletes, sprinters in particular. Before the discussion could open up and idea wrestling could begin, Power Athlete was blocked and comments deleted. Power Athlete will not go gentle into that goodnight!

Listen now as The Crew lays down their #toesforward position. No typing, just spoken words – the old fashioned way – learn why the toes forward squat is the cornerstone movement of the Power Athlete Methodology and a key component of unlocking athletic potential.
