A crowd pleasing appetizer at your next get together! These jalapeno sliders are juicy and packed with a smokey chipotle bite! Drizzled with a creamy chipotle lime mayo, it is the perfect sidekick to bring this slider to life!

Per Serving. (1 Slider + 1 tbsp Chipotle Lime Mayo)

Jalapeno Sliders

Ingredients:

  • 2lb Extra Lean Ground Beef
  • 4 tsp homemade taco seasoning *see below for ingredients. Or you can use storebought
  • 1/2 tsp chipotle powder
  • 1 jalapeno – minced
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp Salt 
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Pepper

Homemade taco seasoning ingredients

  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano

Chipotle Lime Mayo

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Avocado Mayo (Chosen foods)
  • 1 adobo pepper + sauce (La Costena)
  • 1 lime – juiced

METHOD

Step 1: Place the ground beef in a large mixing bowl and add the spices , garlic and egg. Mix until combined but be sure not to over-mix

Step 2: Split mixture and portion out 16 patties

Step 3: Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Once grill is hot add the patties to the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side. Or until desired doneness is achieved

Step 4: Remove from grill and tent under tin foil to stay warm

Step 5: In a high-speed blender combine mayo, pepper and lime juice until fully combined

Step 6: Place patties on your bun of choice (slider bun, baked sweet potatoes etc) and drizzle mayo on top. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley. Enjoy immediately!!!!
