Having an edge on the competition.
This week we are joined by New Orleans Saints fullback, Austin Johnson. Get to know this football Pro and what he had to do to get there. Between training, traveling, and trying to to stay healthy, Johnson is motivated everyday simply by “wanting it more” than his competition.
John and Austin rap about life as an NFL player. Though the perks are a-plenty, Austin stays true to his somewhat humble beginnings. He feels he has an edge over other players because scouts initially didn’t think he had what it took to play professional football. Joke’s on them. Now he says that chip on his shoulder has done nothing but fuel the fire and determination to stick around for as long as possible.
What role did CrossFit play in prepping him for the NFL and how did he evolve into the self-proclaimed Power Athlete you see today? To find out…listen now.
